104 Days to Go....

It's hard to imagine that after three years of planning, we only have 104 days to go and we can all hardly wait. Just heard from our visa processor that our Brazil and Paraguay visas are complete. Our passports are being mailed back to us within the week. It is starting to become very, very real. Our final balances are due on September 1st and everyone in our group has been amazing in getting their payments in on time.

Our friend Judy at LARC (Latin American Resource Center) has been amazing in helping us put together another terrific adventure. Through her, the quality of the tour companies with whom we have contracted and the amount of professional customer service is a bit overwhelming. When everything goes as planned we will be additionally very grateful to Ramiro at Quark and Ripoturismo Travel, Fernando at Patagonia Adventure Treks. and Gustavo at Amazon Clipper Adventures.

Everyone except Marie has received their "little" backpacks, the ONLY piece of luggage we will all be using for this trip...and the comments and concerns are flowing...smile..."not enough room for EVERYTHING I need to take," "Is this all we get," well, you get the picture. It's humorous. All anyone has to do is ask Verena and Andrea how they have learned to travel in Leopard Style.....

Bookmark this blog and check on it often. Our big adventure begins December 1st for most of our travelers and I will post as often as I get an internet connection along the way. In the meantime keep an eye on our preparatory progress.
